Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ksource replacement side mirror for the driver side of your vehicle. This product fits a 1995-2001 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer. The side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver side factory mirror on your vehicle. It's modeled after the manufacturers original look and fit. It does feature power remote capability that way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle. It's also going to have the OE grade flat glass with first surface platting to reflect clear images. The front of the glass is platted with a reflective chrome and then the flat lens is going to reflect true representation of the object size.
The mirror does feature a breakaway design, so if it's struck from the front or from the back it will fold when struck to help deter breakage. We're looking at a nice durable plastic housing with a black finish. Easy no drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. You've got 3 mounting studs and then it does come with 3 mounting nuts.
The mirror's going to plug into the existing electrical wiring on the vehicle. Now, the original equipment or OE number is F5TZ17683B. Please keep in mind that the power remote capability of the mirror will work only if your vehicle already has that function. This mirror does not have a puddle lamp. That's going to do it for today's look at the Ksource replacement side mirror for the driver side.
